Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-09 · Effective date: 2026-06-09

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AHA REVIEW ("the Service") operated by the AHA REVIEW team ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

AHA REVIEW is a software-as-a-service product that helps small business owners and multi-location operators manage their Google Maps reviews and Google Business Profile ("GBP") information. Core features include:

  • Listing your connected Google stores and aggregating their reviews.
  • Generating AI-assisted reply drafts that you edit and choose to publish.
  • Posting your replies to Google via the GBP API.
  • Analysing reviews for potential Google policy violations and generating reportable text.
  • Scheduling photo posts to your GBP location.
  • Showing Performance metrics (views, calls, direction requests, website clicks — clicks are presented as a single combined indicator per our product principle).
  • Inviting limited sub-accounts (team members) on plans that include team seats.

The Service depends on Google APIs and is therefore subject to Google's availability, quotas, and policy decisions.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old and have the authority to bind any business you represent.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You are responsible for the activity of any sub-accounts (team members) you invite.
  • You may have only one account per legal entity, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

4. Connecting your Google Business Profile

When you connect Google, you grant AHA REVIEW limited access to your GBP data using the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage. You confirm that:

  • You are the legitimate manager or owner of the GBP locations you connect, or have been authorised by the owner.
  • You understand AHA REVIEW will read your reviews, store metadata, performance metrics, and reply history, and will post replies and photos on your behalf when you explicitly instruct it to.
  • You may disconnect at any time from Settings or from your Google Account permissions page. Disconnection is handled per §6 of our Privacy Policy.

5. AI-generated reply drafts

When you request a reply, AHA REVIEW sends the review text (and, if you opt in to "tone learning", a small number of your previously published replies) to Anthropic's Claude API. The model returns a draft reply, which is displayed in the dashboard for you to review and edit before publishing. You acknowledge that:

  • AI output may contain inaccuracies, misunderstandings, or culturally inappropriate phrasing.
  • You are solely responsible for what you publish to Google. Once you click "Publish", the reply is your statement to the customer.
  • We will not pre-publish any AI draft on your behalf without an explicit publish action.
  • Generation, including re-generation, counts against your monthly AI-reply quota for the active plan. Re-generation is capped at 5 attempts per review.

6. Review removal — what we do and do not do

Google does not provide an API to delete customer reviews. AHA REVIEW therefore does not delete reviews and does not guarantee that any review will be removed by Google.

What the Service does provide:

  • AI-assisted analysis of whether a review appears to violate Google's review policies (spam, profanity, off-topic, fake content, conflict of interest, etc.).
  • A draft of reportable text you may use to flag the review.
  • A direct link to Google's official review-flagging interface.
  • Periodic polling of the review's existence so that, if Google removes it, we mark it as "removed" in your dashboard.

The decision to remove a review is solely Google's. We make no representation about the outcome of any report.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Manage reviews or businesses you do not have authority to manage.
  • Post replies that are unlawful, defamatory, harassing, deceptive, or that infringe a third party's rights.
  • Solicit reviews in a way that violates Google's review policies (review-gating, paying for reviews, soliciting only positive reviews, etc.).
  • Submit fraudulent or mass-generated removal reports.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to circumvent rate limits, RLS, or plan enforcement.
  • Upload images that contain malware, prohibited content, or that you do not have the right to use.
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service or that Google asks us to disconnect.

8. Plans, fees, billing

  • The Service is offered in three plan tiers (A · Local, B · Growing, C · Multi-store) with optional add-ons priced per unit. The current price list and per-plan limits are shown on the pricing page and at ahareview.com.
  • Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through our payment processor (Paddle, once enabled). Annual plans are billed once and grant two months free.
  • Plan limits (review-reply quota, removal-analysis quota, scheduled-photo quota) reset every billing cycle and do not roll over. Add-on quotas remain valid for 120 days from the purchase date; plan-base quotas are consumed first.
  • Enterprise / franchise plans (over 10 locations) are quoted individually starting at USD 5,000 per year, annual contract only, by request.
  • Taxes, where applicable, are determined and collected by Paddle as the merchant of record.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the next billing cycle.

9. Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund on the first paid subscription period if you cancel and contact us within 14 days of the initial charge. After that, fees already paid are non-refundable, but you retain access through the end of the paid period. Enterprise refunds are governed by the individual contract.

To request a refund, email [email protected] from the account email.

10. Intellectual property

10.1 Our IP

The Service, including the dashboard, codebase, design, logos, and product copy, is owned by us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing.

10.2 Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload or generate through the Service (reply drafts you authored, photos you uploaded). You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the Service to you (display, store, transmit to Google when you publish, transmit minimum review text to our AI provider when you request a draft).

10.3 Google's IP

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, the third parties we share it with, and your rights.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, that AI output will be correct, that Google will accept any review report, or that any review will be removed.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (b) USD 50. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, OR REPUTATIONAL HARM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

14. Termination

You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing or by emailing support. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, if continued access creates a security or legal risk, or if Google asks us to disconnect. Upon termination, data is deleted per §6 of the Privacy Policy.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our practices change. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will email account holders before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the change becomes effective constitutes acceptance.
